Scholarship-Related Information for the Campus

1. Freeship: All students in the Master's in Nursing program receive a full scholarship, and 75% of the Bachelor-level students (BNS and B. Sc. Nursing) receive a full scholarship as per National Medical Education Commission Act 2075 (2019), Government of Nepal, since the academic year 2076/2077. 
2. Prizes and Motivation: The campus organizes different extracurricular and co-curricular programs and competition in the campus regularly. Winning students receive prizes promptly, and all participants receive a letter of appreciation.
3. Student Welfare activities: There is a Student Welfare Committee, including a campus student welfare chief, to conduct welfare activities and address student-related problems as well as issues on campus. In addition, a Student Quality Circle is formed in each class and at the campus level, providing opportunities for students to develop leadership skills and contribute to quality education as members of the IQAC by offering suggestions to the campus Internal Quality Assurance Committee.

Major Student support activities/opportunities are:

1. Academic Support – Guidance from faculty members, academic counseling, tutorials, and support for students facing academic difficulties.
2. Student Counseling and Guidance – Counseling and guidance services to address students’ personal, emotional, social, and academic concerns.
3. Health Services – There is a first aid room, including services in an emergency condition and access to health-related support and referral services when students require medical attention. Students get 90% free treatment service from a recommended hospital as per TU rules.
4. Extracurricular Activities – Opportunities to participate in sports, cultural programs, competitions, clubs, and other activities that support holistic development.
5. Student Representation and Participation – Opportunities for students to express their concerns and participate in institutional activities and decision-making through appropriate student representatives in IQAC committee.
6. Social and Community Engagement – Opportunities to participate in activities such as blood donation, awareness programs, debates, and community-oriented initiatives.
7. Safety, Discipline, and Grievance Support – Mechanisms for maintaining a safe learning environment and addressing students’ concerns, complaints, and grievances.
8. Library and Learning Resources – Access to academic resources, textbooks, reference materials, and other learning facilities to support nursing education. The campus provides free Wi-Fi on campus premises, including the library, for academic purposes.
9. Hostel and Accommodation Support – Where applicable, assistance and facilities related to student accommodation and hostel-related matters for both male and female students. There is a provision of a sick room for needy students.
10. Transportation Facility: There is a provision of bus facility for students during the field posting.
