On the occasion of World Heart Day on Ashwin 13, 2083 (September 29, 2026), the Department of Adult Health Nursing at Pokhara Nursing Campus organized a Blood Pressure Monitoring Program within the campus premises, commencing at 10:30 AM. Facilitated and led by Lecturer Gita Ghimire, the session formally opened with an orientation outlining the core objectives of the program, the significance of World Heart Day, the critical role of regular blood pressure monitoring in early disease detection, and practical lifestyle measures to maintain cardiovascular wellness. The clinical screening served faculty and administrative staff across the campus, with vital assistance from B.Sc. Nursing 4th Year students and M.N. 2nd Year students specializing in Advanced Adult Health Nursing, who systematically measured and recorded each participant's blood pressure readings into a dedicated health register. The program concluded with remarks from Campus Chief Associate Professor Sharada Sharma, who appreciated the Department of Adult Health Nursing and the student volunteers for conducting a timely health promotion initiative for the campus community.
