Campus organized an orientation program on Psychological First Aid (PFA) on 2083/05/25 at the Conference Hall of campus. Students from different levels and programs attended, including BNS, B.Sc. Nursing, and MN, particularly those preparing to serve people in communities during disasters. Lecturers Saphalta Shrestha and Nisha Shrestha facilitated the orientation as resource persons. The program focused on providing participants with basic knowledge and practical skills related to Psychological First Aid and its application in real-life situations. The session was conducted through interactive discussions and simulations based on real-life scenarios, which helped participants better understand how to provide appropriate psychological support to individuals experiencing distress. The participants actively participated in the activities and discussions throughout the session. Overall, the program strengthened students’ empathy, communication skills, confidence, and preparedness to provide psychological first aid during emergencies. The feedback received from the participants was very positive, indicating that the program was beneficial for their personal and professional development.
