
Hostel Operational Guidelines Preparation Committee
As per the direction of the campus administration committee, hostel operational guideline committee was formed on 2077/04/25 to prepare the hostel operational guideline. The committee has three members. This committee prepared the hostel operation guideline, job description of warden and rules and regulation for the hostel residence (Annex II) students and submitted it to the hostel management committee of the campus.

To run the hostel smoothly, the campus administration allocated seven staff which are as follows:

Hostel Infrastructures
The campus has a hostel facility available for those students who came from outside of Pokhara valley. There are six hostel blocks with a total 81 rooms covering 988.806 sq.m. The hostel includes one free student’s union office and one house keeper’s office and 79 rooms for students. The total capacity of hostel is for 158 students. Now 149 students are residing in hostel. There is kitchen, dining hall, common room, 26 toilets and twenty four bathrooms. Two students have to share a room which is well equipped with necessary furniture such as two beds, two chairs, a table and two lockers. In each building there are 4 toilets and bathrooms. There is a provision of safe drinking water with Uro-guard in the dining hall. Hostel has mess facility, with separate kitchen and dining hall. Hostel provides Wi-Fi facility to all students.
Mess & Dining Hall
There is a spacious kitchen which is attached with a dining hall and is equipped with appropriate crockery for running Mess food facilities. The dining hall accommodates at least 76 students at one time with adequate tables and benches. There is also safe drinking water facility such as aqua guard and boiling water.Mess has been run by the person who has contract with the campus, who provides nutritious, healthy and hygienic food to the students according to planned schedule.
Visitors’ Cottage
There is a cottage for visitors with comfortable seating, well lighting, hand washing and toilet facilities.
Recreation
There are facilities of indoor as well as outdoor game for students such as chess, badminton, ludovolley ball, football, table tennis etc.
Transportation
College has separate transport facility under the control of the campus chief. If students are sick,a campus vehicle would take them to hospital.
Warden’s Residence
The warden is provided a residential accommodation which includes free quarter with furniture, electricity, and telephone. There are two bedrooms one common room, separate kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom, washing basin, and space for washing and drying of clothes.
Housekeeper Residence
There are residences for housekeeper, with well-furnished two room. There are common toilet, bathroom, basin and washing and drying of clothes facilities.
Facilities for students
Hostel Admission Process
After getting admission in the campus, the student who require hostel should submit the application letter to the campus. Applicants need to provide home / postal address, and telephone number. The hostel management committee selects the needy students as per the hostel operational guideline. Then, the selected students need to fill in all required information and sign the application form which is available from house mother (Annex III). The students should provide information about as least two local guardians. Hostel warden allocates the room for the students, and provides orientation on rules and regulation of hostels, surroundings.
